Biography

Nadja Haakansson, a champion of inclusion, diversity, and empowerment, embarked on her career at Siemens Energy Sweden in 2005. With a deep commitment to promoting the advancement of women and minorities in the workplace, as well as nurturing local talent and communities, Nadja has made significant strides in her career. In 2021, Nadja was appointed Senior Vice President for the Africa Region at Siemens Energy. Based in Dubai, she leads the company's business initiatives throughout the African continent. Her primary focus is on addressing the challenges of the energy transition and ensuring access to reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy on the continent.
